Buttercups - Deb Watson - Watercolor

 Buttercups - Deb Watson - Gallery Wrapped Watercolor
This is 'Buttercups' - painted with transparent watercolor on gallery wrapped paper, varnished.  The size is 12 x 16 x 3/4.  The sides are painted, so it can be hung as is or framed.  I used all archival materials.  Price:  $225.

You've been doing a lot on the gallery wrapped paper and this lamb painting is quite nicely done with that technique. The watercolors really become brighter in the final sealing step.

Hi Deb,
The light coming through the lambs ears is extra special and the bed of buttercups really says "Spring". I think I'll try wrapping some watercolor paper with varnish some day, sounds very contemporary.

I agree, great light!!! I am curious about the wrapped paper and varnish. I will have to experiment.
