"Summer Day at Rehoboth" by Michael LeKites

I still have more work to do on this. Refinement of the people, color of the ocean and a few other things. The core of it is finished. Acrylic on canvas, 12x16.

This really feels like a Delaware Beach. Love the color.

Thanks for the wonderful comments! I love the beach and my dad was born and raised in Lewes, which is a few miles from Rehoboth. Been going ever since I was knee high! This was a joy to do and is the first of several acrylic beach paintings I will be doing.

Terrific, Michael!

Michael, I love the movement you have in that water; then you look and see that quiet little area in the upper left. Sweet! Don't do too much more. This one looks done.

I really like this one Michael; I don't know what else you could do to this. It is great like it is.
